PLM Healthcare, one if the UK’s leading healthcare marketing consultancies, has been acquired by Home for an undisclosed sum.
Home, an award-winning integrated communications agency based in Leeds, London, Edinburgh, Gibraltar and Sydney, has bought a majority stake in PLM Healthcare. Established in 2009 by ex InHealth Marketing Director Nick Mayhew, PLM has experienced significant growth in 2013 and 2014 and aims to further this with the support of the Home group.
Having worked for a range of NHS and independent sector clients including Guy’s and St Thomas’, UCLH, St George’s, Fulcrum and Boston Scientific, PLM will operate out of Home’s London and Leeds offices.
PLM offer strategic marketing support that will complement the well-established Healthcare division of Home that specialises in digital communications in the Pharma sector.
Commenting on the acquisition, Nick Mayhew said: “We are now part of a substantial group and have access to some outstanding people that will take us onto the next stage of development.”
Dave Sewards, CEO of Home, added: “PLM Healthcare is fantastic agency in its own right, but as part of the wider Home group we feel we can offer a better service as one. This acquisition continues our ongoing growth plans and provides a superior healthcare marketing offer, under the Home roof. We are excited to boost the team as well as work with Nick Mayhew.”
